Marie S. Kane, M.S., consults in the areas of orthopaedic implants and injury biomechanics. She earned her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. Prior to joining Hayes+Associates, Inc., Ms. Kane directed the Orthopaedic Research Laboratory at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR, and was a research associate at Harvard’s Beth Israel Hospital Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory in Boston, MA, where she investigated spine and joint biomechanics and the mechanics of orthopaedic implants.
